Robert Graves elected as Head of Technical Sub-Committee, AMPS

Robert has recently been elected as Head of the Technical Sub-Committee, AMPS (the Association of Member-directed Pension Schemes), having held the position of Chairman between 2008 and 2011. Throughout his tenure Robert has actively represented all parts of the industry, whether SIPP provider, bank or investment house, to make representations on behalf of its members to Government bodies such as HMRC and the FSA.

Robert’s position as Head of Pensions Technical Services at Rowanmoor Pensions puts him in an excellent position to contribute effectively to the wide and varied issues that the AMPS committee deals with; much of the company’s activity overlaps with many of the committee’s activities. With Rowanmoor Pensions involved in both SIPPs and SSAS, offering extensive investment and retirement options, it allows Robert to utilise that corporate experience for the benefit of AMPS.
