The Rowanmoor Pensions SSAS

The United Kingdom is one of the great innovative centres of the world. 99.8% of all businesses in the UK are small or medium sized enterprises, run by entrepreneurs.

For the entrepreneurial company director or proprietor, a small self-administered scheme (SSAS) is not only a pension fund to build financial security in later life but also an excellent tool to assist in achieving business economic success.

A SSAS is established under trust. The members, together with Rowanmoor Trustees Limited, part of Rowanmoor Pensions, are the trustees of the scheme. This means the members, as trustees, control the scheme and its investments.

The funds within the SSAS may be used by the member trustees to invest in their employer through secured loans, or by purchasing property to lease back to the employer at an open market rent. This is known as self-investment.

With good business financial planning advice, the innovative entrepreneur can make their SSAS work for their business whilst building up a substantial pension fund to benefit them, and their family, in retirement.

We are dedicated to providing a quality professional service, individually tailored to the meet the specific needs of each and every client. To achieve this, clients are allocated an experienced qualified consultant and an administrator, both of whom are committed to providing a friendly and efficient service.

The information in this area of our website relates to the features and benefits of the Rowanmoor Pensions SSAS.

Rowanmoor Pensions offers a second SSAS product; the Rowanmoor Pensions Defined Benefit SSAS (DB SSAS), which can be used by employers who wish to maximise the provision of pension benefits for directors and key employees in a given tax year.
