What is Rowanmoor Pensions' role?
Under a Rowanmoor Pensions SIPP, Rowanmoor Trustees Limited is the trustee for the SIPP scheme and Rowanmoor Personal Pensions Limited is the scheme Administrator and the scheme operator. These roles are central to the successful management of the scheme. This is primarily because of the complex nature of pensions and taxation legislation and the need to have a detailed knowledge of the HMRC compliance and audit regime. As scheme Administrator, Rowanmoor Personal Pensions Limited is responsible to HMRC for the establishment and running of the scheme as well as carrying out the day-to-day administration of each member's SIPP.
Unlike many SIPP operators, we offer a bespoke service to our clients by providing a dedicated SIPP administrator who works in a supportive team environment. The personal and professional service we deliver has been built upon years of experience in the pensions arena.
Our services include:
- day-to-day administration of the SIPP;
- keeping up-to-date and accurate records;
- dealing with investment instructions;
- calculating and reviewing benefit payments;
- claiming tax relief from and paying tax to HMRC;
- providing information to HMRC as required by legislation;
- technical support regarding all aspects of the SIPP, its investments and benefits;
- providing annual statements;
- establishing and operating the SIPP bank account.
We will inform clients of the regulations affecting their SIPP and the requirements of legislation.

As independent trustee, Rowanmoor Trustees Limited must be sole owner of all investments, with the exception of property which will be co-owned with the SIPP member.
