David Downie

David Downie is a qualified Actuary with over 15 years' experience in Pensions Consultancy. David trained with Watson Wyatt and Bacon & Woodrow, two of the largest independent consulting actuarial firms in the UK. He is responsible for all Actuarial services provided by Rowanmoor Pensions including holding the appointment of Scheme Actuary to several Defined Benefit Schemes. David was a committee member of the Association of Member-Directed Pension Schemes (AMPS) for five years from October 2003. He is currently a member of the Association of Consulting Actuaries (ACA) small schemes committee.

Alan Finch
Actuary
Alan Finch qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in 1997. He worked for eight years in the Wealth Management Division of Barclays Bank plc in central London, involved in major financial restructuring and product development projects. In 2002 he joined James Hay as a pensions actuary, carrying out scheme actuary work, FRS17 reports for company accounts and advising clients on a range of actuarial issues.
