The opportunities

As a continually developing business, we regularly seek new staff to join our award-winning teams in the following areas:

The role of each team may vary slightly, depending upon the nature of the work. Some teams administer a portfolio of schemes whilst others deal with administrative tasks across the whole portfolio. All roles however, involve dealing with written and telephone enquiries from both clients and advisers.

Administration Teams: handling incoming calls from clients, advisers, accountants and insurance companies. Providing the highest level of customer service and dealing with queries efficiently and accurately. Processing new business applications within a specific timescale and ensuring the new business documentation is accurate and issued to the client or adviser. Dealing with all aspects of general administration efficiently and ensuring regulatory deadlines are met. This is especially important for certain pension scheme transactions for example the purchase of commercial property. Dealing with general correspondence providing clear, concise and factually correct information. Maintaining accurate client records on our database and correspondence files.

Finance and Investment Servicing Team: administering the purchase, sale and registration of quoted equities. Administering and monitoring loan interest payments, rent payments, VAT, tax reclaims, self-assessment tax returns and pension scheme registration, ensuring these are dealt with accurately and within specific deadlines. Daily banking of investment income cheques. Maintaining asset records on our database. Departmental projects. Maintaining pension payroll records, ensuring payments are processed on time. Dealing with all relevant general administration associated with the finance and investments of the scheme.

Outsourcing contracts with insurance companies are dealt with by the above administration teams. The main differences to the administration role is that the teams and individuals who administer the outsourcing contracts also deal with written and telephone enquiries from the insurance company and their sales staff. Some of the work processes vary, however the teams must still maintain the same regulatory deadlines and deal with all aspects and general administration in the same efficient manner.

Our staff come from a variety of backgrounds, as previous pensions experience is not essential. However, member-directed pension schemes are complex by nature and require the ability to acquire a high level of technical knowledge. Typically, successful candidates are:
