In September 2008, Rowanmoor Pensions yet again won the best SSAS Provider Award at Pensions Management magazine's Technology, Administration and Service Awards.
The judges concluded that:
"Rowanmoor Pensions delivered an excellent submission that was beautifully written, clear, to the point, with evidence and testimonials. In addition, there was strong evidence of technical and admin support, high compliance standards and an engaging approach to treating customers fairly. Customer satisfaction was also evident, including from large insurers who have either renewed admin contracts or exited the business and recommended Rowanmoor Pensions as the new provider".
In the same week, Rowanmoor Pensions also picked up an award for Best SSAS Provider at the Investment Life and Pensions Moneyfacts Awards. The Investment Life and Pensions Moneyfacts Awards are based upon independent research and 2008 was the first year small self-administered schemes were introduced to the voting categories.
